FreeWink has received consumer reports concerning third-party websites and online advertisements using our brand name, logo, product photographs and marketing materials to promote mobility scooters and electric wheelchairs at unusually low prices, including offers of approximately $105 or $115.

Some consumers have reported paying for products that never arrived, receiving items that did not match the advertised products, being unable to contact the seller, or finding that the seller’s website had become unavailable.

We are reviewing these reports, preserving relevant evidence and pursuing appropriate complaints concerning suspected misuse of the FreeWink brand.

The appearance of FreeWink branding or product images on a website does not, by itself, establish that the website is operated, authorized or endorsed by FreeWink.

Verify the Website Before You Pay

Check the complete domain name in your browser’s address bar before entering personal or payment information. Similar website names, copied designs, familiar product images and customer reviews are not sufficient proof that a seller is associated with FreeWink.

Be Cautious of Unusually Low Prices

Offers of approximately $105 or $115 for a FreeWink electric wheelchair or mobility scooter are significantly below the prices normally advertised on our website and should be carefully verified.

An unusually low price alone does not prove fraud. However, when combined with copied branding, incomplete seller information, unexpected payment requests or difficulty contacting the business, it is a reason to pause and investigate.

Do not rely on an advertisement or logo alone. Check both the website you are purchasing from and the merchant receiving your payment.

Understand Who Is Handling Your Order

A separate business does not become part of FreeWink simply by displaying our name, photographs or logo.

If you placed an order with another business, we cannot access that business’s order records or issue a refund on its behalf. Please contact the seller and your payment provider about the transaction. You may also contact us to help verify whether the website is associated with FreeWink.

If You Have Already Paid and Suspect a Scam

Contact your bank, card issuer or payment provider promptly. Explain what happened and ask about payment disputes, refund options and steps to protect your account.

Procedures, eligibility and deadlines vary. A refund or chargeback is not guaranteed.

Do not make additional payments in response to suspicious requests for delivery, insurance, customs clearance or refunds without first verifying the request independently.

Keep copies of:

• The website address and product listing;
• Advertisement screenshots;
• Order confirmations, payment dates, amounts and receipts;
• Messages exchanged with the seller;
• Shipping notifications and tracking information;
• Photographs of any goods and packaging received.
